On the Journey: Borders/Boundaries (2019 June) - HERE |
I have always held dear the belief that in leaving any professional position or even contemplating leaving this planet, I would not wish people to remember me by what I said or did, but how I made them feel. The people of CUUC, in turn, have done that for me. I am in possession of my very own wonder box and every time I open it, I will feel special. Thank you! Learn more HERE.

Upcoming Worship Services
Sun Jun 23, 10:00 AM, Sanctuary "All My Relations: You Have to Know from Whence You Came" Petra Thombs
The annual Juneteenth service examines our relationship to each other and all beings through the wisdom of global Indigenous peoples. Chief Dwaine Perry of the Ramapough Lenape Nation and Maxwell Kofi Donkor of Sankofa Drummers join us.
Sun Jun 30, 10:00 AM, Fellowship Hall
"Dreaming of Stepford Wives"
John Bell
In what ways do humans interact differently with things that have no actual inner life (Amazon's Alexa is a primary example), and things that do have an inner life, like our families. Why does our society increasingly seem to prefer the former over the latter? John Bell is a longtime member of the UU Fellowship of Northern Westchester, Mt. Kisco.

Starting Sun Jun 30, 10:00am in Fellowship Hall
Led by members, friends, and guest ministers, summer Sundays are personalized and informal, so folks have opportunities to participate more and grow closer. Music is provided by our talented musicians and special guests (centering music starts at 9:50am). The nursery is staffed for young children. After worship is time for conversation, with light refreshments available at our self-serve table. Regular services and religious education classes begin again Sun Sep 8. Hope to see you here this summer!

It's summertime, and the set up is easy! Pitchers of lemonade and water are in the kitchen and a container of treats is by the refreshment table. Everyone helps set out drinks and snacks after worship as we share time for conversation and community. Then we all put items away for next week. Feel free to bring in your own treats, too! Learn more HERE.
