Dear Parents,

We started the 2019/2020 school year with a bang as we welcomed our new parents at our Kickoff Day event. We continued the year with Spiritual Retreat, Grandparents' Day, Homecoming Ceremony, Intercession Week, field trips and many other activities for our K-12 students and families. Then the world changed with COVID-19. We had to move to distance learning in mid  March. It could have been a disaster, but as we faced days of uncertainty; you, our teachers, and our students proved that we are "more than conquerors." I am proud of how we quickly pulled together to continue to educate our students (your students) while missing only one day of instruction.

As we move towards the 2020/2021 school year, we know that some things will be different. Due to constant unfolding information surrounding COVID-19 and the county health guidelines for reopening schools, we have put together a team that will work to decide what this will look like. We will gather input from parents and staff while following guidelines as laid out by the Contra Costa County Health Department and the State Department of Education. What will remain the same is our commitment to providing the best education possible for all students in a positive and nurturing environment. We are hopeful and believe that God will provide all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

As a final note, I would like to thank you all for welcoming me to CCCS as the K-12 principal this year. It has been my pleasure and honor to serve and get to know you all. I look forward to serving again this coming school year.

Have a wonderful summer,

Ms. Tanya
Principal
