New Employees
Melissa Fontaine
Assistant Property Manager-

Melissa joined the team in the beginning of June. She moved to Kentucky from California. Her positive personality has quickly won over tenants. She is eager to continue learning and is doing a fantastic job.

Highlands Court
Wayne Campbell Retires!

Wayne, originally from Cleveland Ohio, joined UA to work as a doorman at Kentucky Towers in January of 1997. While living on site at Highlands Court he was able to become the full time Maintenance Tech in September 1997. Wayne will
be retiring this year on October 31. After 20 years of service, he is turning over the torch to his son Wayne "Chico".
Wayne will continue to live at Highlands Court during his much needed retirement. Good to know that management will have him around to share his knowledge, and the residents will still be seeing his smiling face. Wayne will also continue his Sunday routine of visiting the residents at hospitals and nursing centers as he has for the past 20 years.
We are planning on having his retirement party at Highlands Court on Friday, November 3rd at 4 p.m. An invitation will be sent to all employees.
Office Improvements
To eliminate the need for an expensive office expansion required to meet government regulations for wheelchair accessibility; s taff decided to replace the one large desk with two smaller desks. It is now much more functional for everyone including our Social Worker and any residents who need to access the internet. The staff is enjoying their new digs. Please feel free to stop by for a visit.
Heritage Green
On August 11 th Heritage Green hosted a Resident Back to School Bash. Residents enjoyed snacks, an inflatable bounce house & school supplies were provided to over 55 children! This was the first of many community outreach events Heritage Green will be hosting. The feedback from our residents was fantastic and much appreciated. They are excited and proud of their community.

Employee Spotlight
Jasmine Thompson
Heritage Green: since 2015
Birthday: December 11th
Hometown: Jeffersonville IN

Current hobbies and Interests include watching Netflix and wrestling with her 2 stepsons. If time or money were no issue she would love to travel the world eating great food!
Comfort food , rice made with sugar and butter just like her mom use to make.
Jasmine's music playlist currently includes James Arthur- Can I be Him and one song she has completely memorized is How Far I'll Go from the Disney movie Moana.
The best thing she learned from her parents is "Hakuna Matata", not to let anything get her down and let it roll off her back.
Something that most people don't know about Jasmine is that she is terrified of birds.
Two things that she is glad she did but would never do again is ride a roller coaster and take a Haunted House tour. Once is enough.

Congrats to Pamela Quinn and Susan-Copass Cheng for having top reviews at the 6 month mark. We greatly appreciate the dedication, time and effort that was put into the process. We look forward to the yearly reviews, and let’s see who stands out and shines with that something extra.
