Summer Sunday School begins June 7
We are excited to offer a Summer Sunday School series “A Book for our Times: the Psalms” beginning Sunday, June 7. We are living in unusual times full of challenges and opportunities in our faith. The book of Psalms contains a full and varied expression of human emotion toward God. John Calvin said this one biblical book comprises the anatomy of our soul, reflecting back to us the richness of living in honest and lively communion with God. In this short five-week online Sunday School class, we will look at themes in the Psalms which enable us to meet the challenges and opportunities of our times with a deepening knowledge of our lives in light of God and our devotion to Him. These Sunday School classes will be shown on our digital platforms ( YouTube, Vimeo and Facebook) on Sunday mornings from 9:30am-10:15am. If you are not able to watch/listen at that time, each class will be on our website and all digital platforms for you to watch/listen at your convenience. These Sunday School classes begin June 7 and will go through July 5.

Engaging in Serving our Community & our Church
Donation Drop Last Day is Friday, June 12
This is the last week we are accepting food donations. After June 12, the schools will begin their regular food distribution program, and we will no longer be packing boxes at Second Harvest each week. After this date, you are welcome to drop off any food donations directly at Matthews Help Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10:00am - 1:00pm.

We will continue to accept PPE donations, hand-written notes of encouragement, and handmade masks. All donations can be dropped off outside the North Lobby from Monday, June 8 – Friday, June 12 between 9:00am – 4:00pm.

For more information and how to learn how to make a hand made mask, please visit ChristCovenant.org/news and look for the eCourier for the week of April 26.

Last Week to Serve at Second Harvest
This is our last week to pack food boxes at Second Harvest. Our church has the Thursday morning slot, from 9:00am – 12:00pm each week. It is a safe, fun and rewarding way to serve those who need help in our community. If you are interested or have questions, please contact Karen Chambers at kchambers@christcovenant.org.

Thank you for Donating
Over the last 10 weeks we have collected and distributed 10 pickup truck loads of staples and canned goods to Second Harvest and 10 car loads to Matthews Help Center and teams from Christ Covenant Church have helped to box up over 60,000 boxes of food for distribution to local schools and food pantries.

Serving One Another in the Church
We know that there are many in our church family who for various reasons may be struggling to get to the grocery store, pick up medication, etc. Christ Covenant has set up a temporary team of volunteers to meet these needs during this season. Please email Ginni Larkins at glarkins@christcovenant.org, or get in touch with your pastor to request assistance with any needs you may have. We love you and want to serve you any way we can!
Women's Summer Bible Study
"Hinged” online Bible study of the book of Ephesians
Feeling a little disconnected? Are you wanting to study scripture, but feel uncomfortable leaving home right now? This summer, all of the women in the PCA are invited to join Karen Hodge and CDM virtually for a Bible study on the book of Ephesians. The study will begin in June and follow the Bible study from the Hinged Conference. If you attended the Hinged conference, you should already have the study, but all women in the PCA are invited to this Bible study, whether
they attended Hinged or not.

If you did not attend the Hinged conference, we have a limited number of Bible study books for sale at the Receptionist Desk in the A building. They are $15 each. Please plan to pay by cash or check when you pick them up. Visit this link to find out more and register: https://pcacdm.org/hbs/.

We know that many of you may have already made plans to do this study with a community group, small group, etc. If you would like to do this study with a group of ladies, but do not currently have a group, please feel free to add your name to this Sign Up Genius. We will then place you in a group so you can study with other ladies! Click here to sign up.
Women's Summer Book Club
This July, we will be reading the book Counterfeit Gods by Tim Keller. We will meet to discuss the book and enjoy refreshments on Thursday, July 9, from 7-9pm in CLC 1 and 2. We encourage you to go ahead and grab a copy now and start reading this wonderful book!
