The 2020 Census has reached a major milestone: half of all San Francisco households have responded! The nationwide response rate has hit 50% as well - that's nearly 74 million responses across America. To recognize the national achievement, US Census Bureau Director Steven Dillingham has released a video message: Census 2020 Update .

To see how your San Francisco neighborhood is doing, check out the Bureau's online response rates map. The map is updated every afternoon.
