FALL 2017

You might not know it from the weather, but we are officially in Fall and looking to close out the calendar year in great shape.  Our work has been taking us all over Southern California lately as more cities and water utility providers recognize our team's wide-ranging expertise, superior client services and technical excellence .

As more opportunities come our way, we need to bring more talent on board to execute projects. Our new HR Business Partner, Susan Solebello, is already making great strides in helping us recruit exceptional, passionate people to join our team. We look forward to sharing more about brand-new teammates and brand-new projects with you soon.

Check out this Fall 2017 Quarterly Newsletter for a brief glance at the latest Civiltec projects in California and the people who make this work happen. If you know others who would appreciate this Quarterly Newsletter,  and encourage them to join our mailing list!

Sincerely,

Partnering with City of Monrovia for Renewal Project
With one of our offices based in Monrovia, Civiltec has fostered a close working relationship with the City for a number of years. This partnership includes successful projects such as the Monrovia Train Station Square and, since 2015, the Monrovia Renewal Project.

New Water Infrastructure Projects for Victorville Water District
The Victorville Water District recently awarded Civiltec two new water infrastructure projects. Currently, the District produces potable water through 36 active groundwater wells and does not use surface or imported water. The District is planning to add 16,650 acre feet per year of Mojave Water Agency's R3 water to the City of Victorville's domestic water network.
Treatment Plant Upgrades in City of Norco
Civiltec has recently teamed up with the Pureflow Filtration Division of California Environmental Controls, Inc. to upgrade a wellhead treatment facility at the Bluff Treatment Plant in the City of Norco. The scope of work for this project involves expanding the facility's existing 1,000 gpm Arsenic, Iron, and Manganese treatment system to 4,000 gpm.

City of Alhambra's First Sewer Lining Project
Civiltec was recently contracted by the City of Alhambra to design and construct the City's first sewer lining project. The project will line 1,000 linear feet of existing, deficient sewer lines along segments in Cypress, Essexfells, Vega, and Florentina. The City has documented numerous areas that require a completely new pipe lining, from manhole to manhole.
We love hearing news from everyone in the Civiltec community. Feel free to reach out, say hello and tell us all the news from your organization!
