Hooray! Construction has begun! Thanks to our resident photographers Rob Zuckerman and David Vita for helping us see how it's all progressing ....
BROWN BAG LUNCH OUTREACH ~ THANK YOU!
Our Brown Bag Lunch Outreach surpassed 19,000 lunches this past Saturday! Thank you all for your consistency and commitment.

If you would like to help us reach 20,000 click HERE for our 1…2…3… directions. The family assembly line lunch production or drawing/decorating the outside of lunch bags are a wonderful opportunity for adults and children to discuss our UU values while putting them into practice.

We’re in our 80th week doing this not because everyone brings lunches every week- that would be unsustainable- rather because people bring them when they can. Many hands make many lunches and that’s what got us to 19,000.

Questions? Contact David Vita  or 203.227.7205 x14.

“History Retold”- Rev. Dr. John Morehouse
Every Sunday, adults with infants - pre-K are welcome to bring their children into the sanctuary with them, or to sit in the foyer or library, where they can hear the service but have a bit more parenting flexibility. Our ushers can help them get settled. As always, please contact Heather Hamilton for information about pre-K to 7th grade programs; Nate Pawelek for 8th-12th grade programs.
This Sunday is a Multi-Generational Service. There is no formal children's programming. All children will be in the service in the sanctuary.

PreK-7th grades are invited to participate in the costume parade! Please meet in the Children's Chapel area at 9:45 AM.

**Adults are encouraged to wear a costume too! Those not in costume might want to grab a mask our children made last week. They can be found on chairs in the sanctuary.**
OWL (8th-9th) – OWL room (Meeting House) – 10:00 AM

This Sunday the youth group will learn how climate change affects global food supply. All HSers welcome to join us in the Meeting House at 11:00 AM. We welcome guest speaker, Pippa Bell Ader, founder of the Westport Zero Food Waste Initiative.

October 31 is the final day to bring your returnable bottles and cans to church. Two anonymous donors have offered the youth group a 10 to 1 match, making each can or bottle now worth $.50 a piece!
And ... a new fundraiser: holiday wreaths. The youth will have a catalogue of different sizes and order forms for you to purchase a holiday wreath. Order wreaths this Sunday thru next, Nov. 7. Wreaths will be delivered by December ).
