Featuring Connecticut's Amazing Land Trusts
English Street Community Garden
Jardin Comunitario
Join us July 22 at 4pm in New Haven

On July 22, the New Haven Land Trust will host a Conservation Conversation at the English Street Garden -- one of over 55 gardens managed by the land trust. The garden is also part of the Incubator Garden Program, a collaboration of the land trust and New Haven Farms, which brings local low-income adults with diet-related chronic disease risk factors to the garden. This garden is another land trust collaborative success story funded through CT DEEP's Urban Green and Community Garden Grant Program and the Community Investment Act ...
Plans for additional visits are in the works!
Stay tuned!
It's summer time ... when conservation conversations are easy!
Chatting, hiking, and taking flight! If you missed our Conservation Conversations in Weston and Ledyard, check out our Facebook Photo Album. Participants included a record number of legislators and town officials, as well as two rehabilitated Barred Owls -- released back into nature by Wildlife in Crisis at Aspetuck Land Trust's Belknap Property.

Next up? On Monday (7/22), we'll celebrate the transformative impacts that community gardens have on our urban communities and landscapes with support from the CT DEEP Urban Green and Community Garden program – funded by the Community Investment Act.

#LoveYourCTLandTrust for providing us, birds, and the wildlife we treasure with special places across the state to enjoy.

Sincerely,
Amy
