A Special Thank You to our  Board Members!

As the 2019 Fiscal Year comes to an end, we would like to thank our outgoing board members, David Lewis, Leanne Jaskwhich, and Lana Sims. We are incredibly thankful for the shared vision and passion these members have demonstrated for Pendleton Place. We are also grateful for the leadership of our FY19 Board Chair, Chip Howard, who will continue to serve on our Board and support the work of incoming Chair, Steven Sawyer.

Reflecting on his term as Board Chair of Pendleton Place, Chip recently made a statement to the community that "the support you provide goes to strengthen our community in changing lives, changing generations, and changing perspectives. Change is the only way that we can make a difference together. I have pledged my support to Pendleton Place and I hope you will as well to change the future generations of Greenville County."

We will forever be grateful to these outstanding individuals for their commitment to supporting vulnerable families and youth in our community. Thank you for the time and dedication you have given to Pendleton Place over the years!
Hands on Greenville Day 2019

On May 4th, the community came together to volunteer all throughout Greenville for United Way of Greenville County's annual Hands on Greenville Day! Members from QuikTripAugusta Road Baptist ChurchRegional Management, and BlackBoard Greenville spent their Saturday morning getting their hands dirty by spreading mulch around our grounds.  By spreading mulch across our property, these groups have helped us maintain an environment conducive to healing and growth so that we can continue to provide support to youth and families in need.

This would not have been possible without the mulch donations we received, totaling 90 yards, from  CJ Mulch & More, Mulch Mart of Powdersville, and Schneider Tree Care!   We are incredibly grateful for our partnership with the United Way and for those who came together to create a special day of service for the Greenville Community.

We are so excited that Greenville Women Giving has awarded Pendleton Place a grant of $83,048 to fund bathroom renovations for Smith House and temporary housing for our residents! Check out this video of our Executive Director and Director of Residential Services discussing the project.
