DHS and the Wisconsin National Guard launched a Mobile Vaccination Program to help accelerate vaccination efforts and expand access across Wisconsin. As the state has the supply to vaccinate more people, this program will help ensure the safe and equitable rollout of Wisconsin’s COVID-19 vaccine program.
-
DHS released new data features on their COVID-19 vaccine data page. The first includes additional information on the Vaccine Distribution Summary table, which now breaks down how many doses providers have ordered and how many are in-transit to vaccine locations. The second feature includes four new visualizations that show total vaccinations and percent coverage by age and sex. View the entire news release.
-
Mental health support and resources are available on the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) website. DHS and WEDC partnered to develop these two single-page documents, available in English, Spanish and Hmong. One contains information to help employers support workers’ mental health, and the other contains a variety of mental health resources for workers (from tips for managing stress to crisis lines).

V-safe is a smartphone-based tool that uses text messaging and web surveys to provide personalized health check-ins after you receive a COVID-19 vaccination. Through v-safe, you can quickly tell CDC if you have any side effects after getting the vaccine. Depending on your answers, someone from CDC may call to check on you and get more information. V-safe will also remind you to get your second dose.
