Participants in the Global Baptist Peace Conference in Cali, Colombia.

Loving and Gracious God,
Be with our kindred in Venezuela,
who are experiencing violence and instability,
inflation and hunger.
Help all neighbors reach out to those in need.
And help us be Your vessels-
vessels of Your hope,
vessels of Your mercy,
vessels of Your love,
vessels of Your justice and peace,
that all Venezuela may flourish anew.
Amen.

To get a real sense of the situation in Venezuela, watch this brief video of Baptist pastor, German Fernandez, currently participating in the Global Baptist Peace Conference.
