Brandywine National Scenic Byway
The update to the Brandywine Valley National Scenic Byway Corridor Management Plan is proceeding on schedule thanks to the hard work of the update committee. Publication is anticipated for early next year with a public unveiling to follow in the spring. The Plan will detail the programs and projects the Byway Partnership plans to undertake over the next ten years. Delaware Greenways provides leadership and administrative support to the Byway Partnership.

Delaware Bayshore Byway
The Delaware Greenways team is developing a digital inventory of attractions, services, activities and events on the Delaware Bayshore Byway with the help of Byway partners. AWESOME VOLUNTEERS!
The Jack A. Markell Trail looks even more beautiful these days thanks in large part to Albero, Kupferman and Associates , a Wilmington accounting firm. Last month, the AKA team volunteered their time on the trail. True to their CPA skills, their attention to detail was amazing! They uncovered and collected trash that had been hidden for years! Thank you again to all of the group. We had a lot of fun out there on the trail with you!

Looking Back on the Year...
Reflecting on 2018, it’s our collaborative spirit that make me most proud. As an organization we’re able to accomplish very little on our own, working collaboratively we’re able to bring about real change in Delaware. Our partners are many and varied, and to each we extend our heartfelt thanks for your contributions as we’ve worked together to improve our communities, in turn, this great State we call home.

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
