THE PARK VIEW REVIEW, NOVEMBER 26, 2019
Thanksgiving is a day set aside to not merely be thankful for our blessings, but to give thanks to God, from whom these blessings flow. It's a time when we at Park View thank God for blessing you ... whether as an individual, a business, an organization, or a church who, in turn, has blessed us. We've been on the receiving end of your prayers, monetary contributions, food and clothing donations, and the gift of your valuable time and special talents.
We thank God for you!
News in Brief From Our Five Programs:
The last two Wednesday nights in December are Christmas Eve and New Years Eve, so our dinners will be held on Monday of those weeks, same time as usual, starting at 5pm.
We build bridges; we tear down silos. Collaborating with others is so important to making significant progress.

More classes are coming! Virginia Cooperative Extension's Family Nutrition Program will be offered again each Wednesday morning in January at 10am. To sign up, send an email to: LSI@parkviewmission.org.
Timberlake United Methodist Church has blessed us with hundreds of gift cards to purchase selected food items from Walmart! These cards will be included in special holiday food bags being delivered before Thanksgiving. Members also helped pack the bags last week, after many of them had just finished serving dinner at the Park View Cafe!
Thanks to all who made it their mission to provide special food items for Thanksgiving. Please help us do the same in December, either by cash donations or supplying us with turkeys, hams, or canned items. And thanks to a group from LU for providing a big box of blankets for our neighbors this winter. Click this link to read the full story.
