Premier+2 - Level 1

This class will teach you the basics of the Premier+2 Embroidery software. You will learn to find designs, how to change thread colors, resize, and make design combinations.

Software Sampler
Teacher: Jane McMurray
Time: 10am-11:30am
Do you want to learn quick easy digitizing projects? If so this is the class for you. We will meet each month and learn to digitize a new complete project using 6D or Premier+ software. Come join Jane as she guides you through the software modules necessary for these projects.

Advanced Creative Icon/Designer Epic-
Shape Creator
Teacher: Jane McMurray
Time: 1pm-3pm
Learn more about mastering your machine by learning to use the shape creator in the embroidery module to design your own embroidery projects.
This class is for Pfaff Creative Icon and Husqvarna Viking Designer Epic owners only.

Premier+2 - Level 2

This class is for Premier+2 Embroidery Extra or Premier+2 Ultra owners. We will be learning the options available in the Edit Tab, Background Wizard, ExpressDesign Wizard, PhotoStitch Wizard, QuiltBlock Wizard, and Split Project Wizard.

Open Sew Saturday
Dates:
Saturday, August 3
Time: 10am-5pm
Join us on the 1st Saturday each month for OPEN SEW SATURDAY! A day for you to come in with your own sewing or embroidery machine, and whatever project you may be working on. We chat and give a little help if you need it. Bring your own lunch, or go out somewhere nearby, just sort of free-wheeling it. We'll leave that up to you. Hope to see you there!

Emblem-Confident Beginning Quilting
Teacher: Diane Juskelis
Dates: Thursdays,
August 8, 15, & 22
Time: 10am-12pm
Confident Beginning Quilting will build upon the piecing skills by focusing on half square triangles, corner connectors and sashing with cornerstones. This class will use fat quarters and yardage for piecing the quilt top.
Students may choose to make a crib, lap, twin or queen sized quilt. Class sample is a quilt size.
Cutting and sewing homework is required. Test-drive one of our computerized sewing machines to complete your quilt.

Quilts of Valor
A Quilt of Valor is our award to those who have been touched by war. It says "thank you for your service, sacrifice and valor" in serving our nation. If you would like to participate in this local sewing group, please join us on any or all dates to work on your own Quilt of Valor or to assist others with their quilts.

Simple Whatnots Club
- The club fee stays the same as last year. You will receive all the patterns for the 8 small projects and the patterns for the
Geese in the Meadow
as well. We will meet once again on the second Saturday of the month. Sherri Klaich will once again be our guide. We will have Kim Diehl's newest fabric line,
Wit and Wisdom
, and will cut optional kits for the small projects.
The dates for the rest of the year are as follows: Saturdays, 10am-11am, August 10, September 14

Embroidery Workshop -

Expand your embroidery potential and achieve the most professional results when stitching out this beautiful applique design! You will learn to use the perfect placement/design placement features in your machine when stitching out this wall hanging specifically designed for the Pfaff Grand Dream hoop or the HV Majestic hoop.
The applique design for this class is FREE with your enrollment!

Northwoods 8 - Just look at these beautiful Northwoods batiks!!! We also have Northwoods Forest roll-ups (jelly rolls). As I was opening these fabrics and taking them out of the box, The Tannenbaum pattern was sitting right there and I thought wouldn't these look amazing using this pattern? Of course the roll-ups can be used with any jelly roll pattern available.

Fleur de Noel - by French General these are the precut fabrics for the line of the same name from last week's update. Great way to get a bit of the whole line and sooo many patterns available
to use with them. We have layer cakes, jelly rolls and charms.

Snowman Fun Quiet Book - What a sweet idea! Using a Snow Day panel you can make this fun take along book to build a snowman!

Brown Bayou - From the new Jo Morton book Hearth and Home this quilt is 45" X 45". Books and kits using Jo Morton fabrics are available. Stop in and take a peak.

Kim Diehl just posted today on social media the next series of
Simple Whatnots 9
, and I just couldn't wait to share the projects and new fabric line Esther's Heirloom Shirtings. Fabrics won't arrive until December and club will not be able to start before January. I am excited to see that this line has more light colored fabrics than previously, and the projects are wonderful, and what I always expect from Kim Diehl. She does not disappoint!
