Thanksgiving Opportunity to Love Our Neighbors
The holidays are a great opportunity to love our neighbors, why not take a moment to thank your neighbor with a note this Thanksgiving?
Celebrate this Christmas season by Serving Others
Here are several ways you can love your neighbors this Christmas:
  • Donate toys to Merry Oaks Elementary's (one of our partner schools) Christmas Toy Store so that we can sell them for a low affordable price to those in need! You can either use this Amazon wish list  and send them to the church Attn: Angela Schlottman, or purchase new toys or games ($20-$40) for boys & girls ages 4-12 yrs old and bring them to your DC. We will need all donated toys by Friday, Dec 6.
  • Join us for Caroling at Country Club Apartments in East Charlotte, Saturday, Dec 14 from 3:30-5:00pm.  Sign up here

Praise...
Praise for little ones with fresh eyes to remind us of the wonder of Christmas, and for all who have worked so hard to make our campus beautiful for the Advent season.
Praise for those willing to volunteer behind the scenes to make our baptisms run smoothly.
Praise for the Sunday morning Joy Ministry team who serve our children and adults with special needs.
Praise for the fellowship enjoyed among our Senior Adults over an early Thanksgiving feast.

Pray...
Pray for Albania  as they recover from this morning's 6.4 earthquake and ongoing aftershocks.   Carmel missionaries ,   Bob and Cathy Watanabe  and  Landi and Deanne Sula  and Carmel's partner ministries in Albania  will need strength, peace and wisdom as they bring hope and encouragement in a time of uncertainty and fear.
