Transit-Oriented Development Update

FTA Grant for TOD Zoning Study Update
You may recall from last summer that FTA awarded a grant to IndyGo and the City of Indianapolis to improve zoning for TOD around the Blue Line. To find a calendar, all deliverables to date, the Existing Conditions Report, and the Problem Statement visit IndyTOD.com.
In Case You Missed It
As part of the Blue Line TOD project, Joe Minicozzi of Urban 3 gave a presentation in two parts about how Indianapolis can take a closer look at the taxing and zoning codes to make it easier to create TOD. View the recordings below:

Blue Line TOD Next Steps
Based on a mountain of research and input, consultants are drafting a set of zoning revisions for Indianapolis review this summer. We expect the Metropolitan Development Commission and City-County Council to take up the revised package this fall, after the City budget.
Purple Line TOD Strategic Plan
We've begun updating the Purple Line TOD strategic plan and hope to have it out for comment this summer.
MPO offices are located in the Indianapolis City-County Building, which has been closed until further notice due to COVID-19. However, we are all working remotely and continue with our normal activities.

Thank you,
