UPCOMING PROGRAM

This week we welcome Theo Graham & Elizabeth Calvert of Year Up, Jacksonville!

Year Up's mission is to close the Opportunity Divide by providing urban young adults with the skills, experience, and support that will empower them to reach their potential through professional careers and higher education.

They achieve this mission through a high support, high expectation model that combines marketable job skills, stipends, internships and college credits. Their holistic approach focuses on students' professional and personal development to place these young adults on a viable path to economic self-sufficiency.

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Last week we welcomed Mike Balanky, Development of the Urban Core. Mr. Balanky gave an interesting and informative talk on how the key to development is to create Critical Mass. In order to do this, you must have synergy, vision, opportunity and execution. As he puts it, "Vision without Execution is just Hallucination".

I would also like to wish all the fathers out there a very Happy Father's Day!

JUNE GOLF OUTING

Join us for our monthly Golf Outing at the Golf Club at South Hampton!

This course is designed to offer every golfer the appropriate risk/reward situations that challenge the experienced player and offer encouragement to the novice. Sixteen large lakes and over 60 contoured bunkers, in combination with meticulous landscaping, provide players with a superbly conditioned facility. The distinctive layout will test shot-making abilities and require the use of every club in the bag.
