It's Time To Change Seasons!
Greetings!
Seasons Are What You Put On Food!
I'm a San Diego boy. Born and raised there. When people talked about seasons, they were Great, Green I, Brown, and Green II. Great was in the wintertime. No fog, clear days and sunny. Green I were the late Spring rains. Brown was the rest of the year because the brush and plants withered without rain. Then Green II was a few weeks around Thanksgiving when there was a little rain, which usually occurred during soccer playoffs!
Everything was so orderly in California. The snow even seemed to fall only on the ski slopes and it missed the roads.

There Really Are Seasons!

Then I moved to the Mid-West. WOW! There were seasons other than Green and Brown...it was hard to imagine!

Ruth makes seasonal quilts for our front door. I have been surprised at how well they stand up to the sun's rays. This one is a flower in a flowerpot. Very Summery, don't you think? I love the use of colors in the flower, leaves, puts & rims, the inside border and the border. So colorful.
Well, a few days ago was the vernal equinox. That is when the sunlight and darkness share equal lengths. So, now we are in the Fall season. I look at it as harvest. My father-in-law was a dairy farmer. This time of year was used for harvest when the moisture content was perfect.

As I said, I'm a San Diego boy. Dairy farming is foreign to me...cows, corn, beans, Ford v International Harvester.... I don't have a fraction of the knowledge to do that. But, I can make arrangements of pumpkins!

Let me restate that: Ruth can make arrangements of pumpkins! And are they beautiful! After all, it is Fall. I love the Fall color scheme.

Fall is more than just a time to change the clock! And, artistically satisfying.

Please note that Ruth loves to quilt. These quilts do not have patterns for sale.
May The Lord Richly Bless You!
