PAW PRINTS
May 21, 2021
Dear SMCS Parents,

Thank you for all of the early birthday wishes and for sending your students to school wearing pink on Wednesday. Thank you for your kindness and caring.

Special thanks to the St. Michael the Archangel Parish Knights of Columbus for providing and serving lunch to the school staff on Thursday. The staff enjoyed visiting with the Knights and appreciated the delicious food.

Congratulations to the SMCS Class of 2021! Today was their last day of school. We wish them the best of luck next year in high school.

It is hard to believe that we only have one week left of school. We appreciate everyone's patience, flexibility, and support this year as we navigated the pandemic together. On Tuesday of this week, I sent out preliminary COVID protocols for the 2021-2022 school year. The mask section in the protocols has been revised to say:

Masks
Masks will be optional for students for the 2021-2022 school year as long as conditions remain stable or improve throughout the summer.

The COVID protocols for the 2021-2022 school year will be shared again in next week's Paw Prints. They will be also sent out during the summer as revisions and updates are made.

Thank you again for all of your support! Have a wonderful weekend.

Blessings,
Dr. Kathleen Cox

Dear Parents,

Please pick up any medications your child may have in the school clinic. Students are not allowed to transport medications home from the clinic. I will have medications out during morning carpool on Wednesday, May 24th for a convenient pick-up. No medications will be stored over the summer break. Any medications remaining in the clinic after Friday, May 26th will be discarded.

Thank you, Nurse Diaz
