FREE Resources for Educators
Dear Friends,

Whether you are heading back to campus, trying out a hybrid model, or starting the year online, MY HERO's free DISTANCE LEARNING multimedia resources enrich student learning with positive, inspiring content. We have suggestions for quick activities, lesson ideas, and complete projects for all grade levels.

To kick off the academic year, we invite you to explore lesson plans, rich with media, organized by grade level. MY HERO has lesson plans in many subjects, including language arts to enhance reading and writing curriculums, as well as science, including lessons on ocean conservation and environmentalism. For additional resources on character education, peace studies and more, visit the MY HERO Teachers Room.

For questions, or to set up a virtual training session for using MY HERO resources with students, email: laura@myheroproject.org

MY HERO is a free, not-for-profit educational project that provides a safe, curated online venue for students to share and discover hero stories with a global audience. Contributors include teachers and students as well as professional writers, artists and filmmakers. We hope you will participate and share this newsletter with teachers and parents that you know.

Sincerely,

Laura Nietzer
