Field of Honor - Sponsor a Flag by October 31
In honor of Veteran’s Day, American Flags will be displayed on the front lawn of the Bernards Township Municipal Building to recognize and show honor to the Veterans who have dedicated themselves to the protection of our freedom.

Donations benefit Community Hope's “Hope for Veterans” programs at the Lyons VA Campus, which ensures a safe haven for 106 homeless and disabled veterans every day.  
Rutgers Safety Clinic
Wednesday, November 10th from 6:30pm to 9:30pm.

You must be present for the entire 3-hour course in order to receive credit for completion. All coaches for sports organizations that use Township fields are required to complete this clinic.

Winter Basketball League
For boys and girls in grades 2nd - 8th. Registration has begun.

We are still looking for more parent volunteer coaches! If you would like to coach your child's team, please click on the link below.
 
Fall Workshop
For boys and girls in grades K - 5th. This art workshop will be held on Thursday, November 4th at the community center. Registration has begun.

Facility Reservation Information

We are accepting reservations for the following facilities and dates:

  • The Dunham Park Roller Rink will be closed for repairs until further notice.
  • Outdoor park picnic shelters for dates through October 31, 2021.
  • Indoor park facilities and the Community Center for dates through December 31, 2021.
  • Grass athletic fields for dates through November 21, 2021. Turf athletic fields for dates through December 31, 2021.
  • Tennis, Pickleball and Paddle court reservations are accepted online up to 7 days in advance.

Notice of Road & Facility Closures 
 
Dunham Park - The Liberty Corner Road Bridge will be fully closed to vehicular and pedestrian/bicycle traffic for construction for approximately 5 months. During this time, park visitors are able to travel past the barricades at the 4-way stop to enter the Dunham Park parking lots on Liberty Corner Road. This is a Somerset County project, click here for details.
