May 2019
May is the time when flowers begin to bloom and garden veggies begin to sprout. We say goodbye to the cold snows of winter and hello to the long sunny days of summer!  There's no better place than Waynesboro for outdoor recreation, and we celebrate with some great annual events,
Where Good Nature Comes Naturally!

View the very best paddling films from around the world. The World Tour screens in more than 120 cities around the world and this year Waynesboro is one of them. You'll be inspired to explore rivers, lakes, and oceans, push extremes, embrace paddling culture, and appreciate wild places....maybe notice those right here in our own backyard.

During the Social Hour grab something to eat from Hops Kitchen and one of the fine brews Basic City has to offer. Talk to one of the many businesses and organizations with informational booths about paddling opportunities in the area.  Then kick back and prepare to be amazed by the inspiring paddling films covering the gamut from flatwater to whitewater and canoe to SUP. Films run from 2 minutes to 40 minutes in length. You won't want to miss a second of it.  Cost: $5, tickets available at door day of event.
