Easter Sunday

"Easter is the Salvation Story Needed for the Earth"

On this Earth Day weekend and Easter Sunday, let us follow the example of the early Jesus followers, who told improbable and hopeful stories of Jesus' return. We need to become evangelists for the restoration of our planet and the rebirth of its biodiversity. As an act of ritual recommitment, we will also celebrate our Unitarian Flower Communion. Please bring one flower per person. This is an intergenerational service, so all ages will celebrate together.

After service, families and children will move outdoors for an Easter Egg hunt on the lawn. Discovered eggs may be brought into the Atrium and turned in for a reward of chocolate and supplies for seed-planting to celebrate and generate life. Please have your child come to church prepared with a bag or basket for egg-gathering! Middle school youth will be hiding the eggs. High school youth will be organizing coffee hour in order to raise money for their Boston Trip, less than two months away!
