We have been enjoying weeks of great conditions in Devon, a full course programme has kept us busy. Simon has been involved again with Dagger's prototype testing, with the Dagger Rewind currently under development, there new half-slice river running fun boat.

Rowan James returned from Norway, enjoying the great wet conditions in Devon, and working as a roofer when the rain stops. Deb Pinniger comes drops in, in between writing her PhD project. And Jakub Sedivy has been on on tour delivering slide shows off his big paddling trips across the Czech Republic.

he Gene17 Adventure Paddlers Weekend, is coming to its 18th Edition, with our very own Jakub and Rowan being the headline acts.

WE LOVE ITALY IN THE SPRING
Sliding on granite in Italy, a spring delight. For May 2020 we have all three options; 
For 2019, something for everyone whether you live local, fly in from a far or drive over down to Valsesia, all with chalet or camping options.


ADVNETURE PADDLER'S WEEKEND 6/9 DECMEBER 2019




The Adventure Paddlers Weekend, a meeting point for all kayakers near the end of the year celebrates the Adventure Paddlers Weekend! On Saturday Gene17kayaking hosts an evening of new films from recent expeditions. We'll also have a DJ to see the night through. We leave the daytime free for yourselves to go paddling with your friends, to catch up on old times and have your our adventure. The event is located at the highly popular River Dart, on Dartmoor, as usual.

AUTUMN 2019 TEEING UP TO BE A CLASSIC
Though the rain in Devon started in early October, the relentless westerly flows of rain bands have made for wet and wild days on Dartmoor. The East Okement Slides came in for a top draw Advanced WW Leader Training course in late October. Check out our Winter 2019 offer below.

The uptake this autumn/winter has been strong, especially for technique courses.  For us this means paddlers are starting again to focus on their paddling performance, as well as a strong desire to work through BC qualifications.
