Bridges Houses: A New Community-Building Program for Students
Developed in collaboration with student leadership group, Associated Students of the School of Medicine, the Bridges Houses program aims to increase students’ connections to their classmates and coaches, enhance professional development, and maximize opportunities for peer mentoring among students across all phases of the Bridges curriculum.
All School of Medicine students have been divided into 20-24-person “houses,” with two or three coaches. The program, which launched for new student orientation July 20 – August 7, 2020, aligns with Clinical Microsystem Clerkship schedules.
