Adopt a Student - College students need a home away from home while they are at college. We want to help them connect with our church and community by "adopting" them into your family. They do not come to live with you, but you would reach out to them weekly and invite them over monthly. If you are interested, contact Cody@northmonroe.com.

Food Bank of NELA: The Food Bank is welcoming back volunteers starting in September. North Monroe will be packing food boxes on the 1st Thursday of each month from 8:30-9:30am. There are 15 open spots each month and you must be 18 years or older. If you are interested in joining us you can contact Wendy at wendy@northmonroe.com.

Georgia Barnette State Missions Offering: This annual offering will aid crisis pregnancy centers, new church plants, disaster relief, prison ministries, thrift stores and much more all over LOUISIANA. Baptist Churches statewide will seek to gather 1.7 million for the cause.

LA Baptist Children's Home Fall Food Round-Up: The 2021 Fall Food Round-Up is critical to helping us meet the basic needs for our children. Pick up a list of suggested items from any Welcome Desk. Please bring your items to the Collection Display in the main hall outside of the Main Worship Center by October 3rd.

289 Vineyard - A Christ centered Wednesday Night Bible Study of unmarried people in their 30’s-50’s. The emphasis is on mining God’s word to produce a richness in study that expresses what the Bible teaches and how we are to live in light of that understanding. This team will be stationed at Williams Boulevard Baptist Church. There are three points of focus - rebuilding their facility, restoring the community, and food and supply distribution.

Student Hour is on Wednesday nights for Middle School starting at 6:00p and High School starting at 6:40p in the Student Center followed by Small Groups. Join us for worship, relevant teaching, and an opportunity to connect with others. The Student Cafe opens at 5p. You belong here!

College Hour, a Wednesday Night weekly worship service for college students in the area. Doors open at 7:30pm with Worship at 8:00pm in the East Venue.

YEC (Youth Evangelism Celebration)

The Youth Evangelism Celebration (YEC) is an evangelistic and equipping event designed to lead students to Christ and challenge believers to greater accomplishments in Christ. Join us on Nov. 21 and 22 to hear the word from Clayton King, worship from The Jason Lovins Band, and a concert from Crowder. Cost includes ticket and hotel room.

Desiard Street Shelter: If you or your Life Group would be interested in helping provide/serve a meal for 20-40 people on the third Thursday of the month from 4:30 – 5:30.
Ray of Hope (A Food Bank agency at 1835 Winnsboro Road): Mondays: Distribute food boxes any time between 8am – 4pm (lunch provided for volunteers). Wednesdays & Fridays: Prepare food boxes for Monday distribution between 8am – 12noon; Thrift store: price and put out goods. Groups of 10 – 12, call to make arrangements with Karen (318.348-3144) ahead of time.
