Samuel Lane Construction Scheduled
 
Houston, TX - Houston City Council Member Dave Martin is pleased to announce Houston Public Works crews will begin work on the 12800 block of Samuel Lane on Monday, December 2.  The scope of work includes removing the grassy area within the cul-de-sac on Samuel Lane, and installing new asphalt pavement. The work is expected to be completed by Monday, December 9.  Council Member Martin allocated  $13,618.14 of his Council District Service Funds to address the concern of several Samuel Lane residents. 

Residents along the 12800 block of Samuel Lane will be notified of the work via door hangers by Monday, November 18. Crews will be working on site between 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Access to residences and driveways will be available through the entirety of the project. 

A s a result of the construction activities, please be aware of flagmen and orange traffic cones that will be put in place on site to help with traffic flow through the construction zone as temporary lane closures are expected. Throughout the project, one lane will be partially closed while crews are actively working. The lane will be reopened on a daily basis.  Residents may experience an increase in noise levels due to trucks and equipment in the area.
