Updated COVID-19 Resources
The COVID-19 (Coronavirus) public health emergency demands all of our attention and constant vigilance. We’ve created COVID-19 resource pages to help keep our community members updated with the latest information on basic needs, tenant and landlord resources, health and mental health resources, the contents of the CARES Act stimulus package, and more.

Youth-Serving Organizations Recognized for Their
Dedication during COVID-19 Emergency
In a recent article , Milwaukee NNS featured a number of local youth-serving organizations that are continuing to stay connected with their youth despite the challenge of not being able to meet in person. These organizations are like second families to many of these young people, and their peer and adult mentors and coaches are going above and beyond to check in and develop online resources to ensure the youth are engaged in positive activities to get them through rough times. ReCast MKE Funding Opportunity
The City of Milwaukee Office of Violence Prevention issued a Request for Proposals for ReCAST MKE’s 2020 Safe Summer Healing Project. Upon eligibility, you are encouraged to apply on behalf of your organization. You can find the full RFP here . The deadline is Friday, April 10, at 4 p.m.
COVID-19 Response Grant Program
A new funding opportunity from the Wisconsin Partnership Program at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health will help UW-Madison researchers and community organizations respond to the immediate challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. The COVID-19 Response Grant Program is a strategic, flexible, rapid-response mechanism designed to support innovative, responsive, high-impact projects that aim to improve the health of the people of Wisconsin by lessening the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic through scientific, medical, or public health approaches and/or by supporting those most at risk or experiencing the greatest disparities in care. Opioid Forum Postponed
The Opioid Forum scheduled for May 5-7, 2020, in the Wisconsin Dells has been postponed in light of the COVID-19 outbreak. Updates on the future of this year's conference will be posted on the DHS website . If you have reserved a hotel room at the Kalahari Resort for this event, contact them to cancel your reservation. 
Wisconsin Zero Suicide Training Applications Deadline Extended
Prevent Suicide Wisconsin is extending its deadline for the Wisconsin Zero Suicide Training to Tuesday, June 2, at 4 p.m. The application narrative and Organizational Self-Study must be submitted via email to Cara Hansen at cara@mhawisconsin.org
