BOARD MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT
The Las Sendas Board of Directors will hold an open session Board Meeting this Thursday, May 28, 2020 at 6 p.m. To provide Las Sendas residents with updates regarding their community, this meeting will be held at the Trailhead Members Club OUTDOOR patio. The meeting will adhere to the new Guidelines under Governor Ducey’s Executive Order regarding physical distancing, as well as reduced occupancy limits. If you are not able to attend, you can still watch for our Board Meeting Highlights which will be shared electronically no later than Friday, June 5. For those planning to attend the meeting, please be mindful of and observe the following regulations:

  • Chairs will be set up 6-feet apart to allow appropriate physical distancing. 
  • This meeting will adhere to a reduced occupancy of no more than 10 people. 
  • This meeting will be held outdoors and the temperature predicted for Thursday is a high of 107 ̊.
  • Please bring your own water to the meeting as it will be warm outside. 
  • If you or someone in your home is feeling ill, please stay home and review the meeting highlights when they are distributed electronically.

Additionally, the Board of Directors will meet on that same day at 4:30 p.m. in an Executive Session (closed to residents) to discuss matters pertaining to A.R.S. § 33-1804 A (3) and (5) - Financial Information about an Individual Member of the Association (Legal Collection); and Member’s Appeal of Cited Violation.

WATER BALLOONS
Recently there have been reports of water balloons being thrown at cars in the community. Please remind your family and guests that throwing anything, including water balloons, at motorists is a safety risk and is discouraged. If you witness this type of activity, please call the Police or notify management by calling 480-357-8780 or Patrol after-hours by calling 480-220-1794.
REFINANCING YOUR HOME?
If you are refinancing your home and your mortgage lender is requesting a copy of your assessment statement, please follow these simple instructions:

-          Navigate to www.thetrailhead.org
-          Hover over the link at the top of the page that says “Homeowner Portal”
-          Click on the first link in the Homeowner Portal menu that says “Assessments”
-          Click on the link where it says “To print a copy of your account ledger, click here”
-          Sign into your VMS account with your account number and password
-          Click on account detail

This will provide you a copy of your ledger but does not include your name or property address. If your lender requires one with your name and property address, please give us a call at 480.357.8780.

RECREATIONAL VEHICLE REMINDER
Lake season in Arizona is upon us! Las Sendas is located very close to Saguaro Lake which means we have a lot of boat owners in the community. Don't forget that there are regulations about parking recreational vehicles in the street such as boats, RVs, ATVs, campers, motor-homes, etc.

Recreational vehicles may only be parked in the street for up to 24-hours for loading and unloading after receiving a parking waiver from the Architectural Review Committee (ARC). (CC&R’s – Article 3 – Section 3.17.2) To request a parking waiver, please complete & return an Architectural Review Application and a Variance Form.
