The 24th Annual Air Force Marathon virtual race month is just around the corner and will include a virtual Health & Fitness Expo so you can shop your favorite expo booths online, and learn about new products and developments in health, fitness, and nutrition. You will be able to search for a specific company or browse the virtual expo booths to see what each vendor has to offer.

The virtual expo will be available online September 1st-30th and is free & open to the public. A link will be sent out in the August newsletter and you will also be able to find it on our website and social media channels.

Tailwind Trot Gear Reveal!

Check out the 2020 Tailwind Trot 1K Kids' Race official race shirt and finisher's dog tag each Tailwind Trot participant will receive along with a complimentary commemorative patch (if selected), and race bib! The race shirt is a poly-cotton blend made from 60% recycled material and the dog tags are made right here in the USA.

The official race shirt and finisher's dog tag feature Tailwind, the official mascot of the Air Force Marathon. The official race shirt also features the HH-60G Pave Hawk which is the 2020 featured aircraft.

Already registered? Each virtual participant will receive a race bib and complimentary commemorative patch along with an official race shirt and finisher's medal. Fly! Fight! Win! Challenge Series participants will also receive a fourth finisher's medal (with two spinning rotors!) and an official race quarter zip.

Complete your virtual Air Force Marathon experience with a fully branded trucker hat, customizable medal engraving, Tailwind plush toy, or New Balance in training shirt! Limited quantities are available for purchase through the registration page. You do not need to be a registered participant to purchase the hat, plush toy, or in training shirt. What is a Virtual Race?

The Air Force Marathon virtual events are open to everyone and include all race distances; marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K, Tailwind Trot 1K Kids' Race, and both Fly! Fight! Win! Challenge Series. You may complete your Air Force Marathon virtual race any day between September 1st-30th, 2020. You may run, walk, or run/walk your full distance wherever you want – around your neighborhood, at a local park, or on a treadmill. If possible, be sure to track your race with runcoach, Strava, Garmin, Fitbit, or another GPS-tracking app that will confirm your mileage and time. After your race, we encourage you to submit your finish time to the results page but this will not be required.

All participants who register for a virtual event will receive a race bib, an official race shirt, complimentary commemorative patch (if selected), and finisher’s medal. Fly! Fight! Win! Challenge participants will also receive a fourth finisher’s medal and official race quarter zip.
