The mission of KLRN is to open a world of lifelong learning through trustworthy and enriching programs on-air, online and in our community.
APRIL 1, 2020
Dear Teachers and Families,

Teachers and families, please know how very much you do for your students and your children every day. It seems like there are new changes with each new day, each with its challenges and triumphs. Take a breath and remember you are doing a great job. Please know we are here for you if you need any ideas for at-home learning, or even ways to make the day more fun.

We will be having several online training sessions for PBS Learning Media starting soon. They are useful to help navigate the site. Please see the section at the bottom of the newsletter to sign up. As always, our trainings are free. The education blog posts, which contain super helpful information, will continue to be sent out daily. If you need any help to set up a PBS Learning Media login or if you have any other school related questions, please reach out at rsalinas@klrn.org . Thank you again for what you do. We are thankful for your dedication to all the learners out there.

With Appreciation,
Rachel Salinas
Director of School Services

PROGRAMMING FEATURE: NOVA: The Planets - Jupiter
Jupiter's gravitational force made it a wrecking ball as it barreled through the early solar system, but it also helped shape life on Earth as it brought comets laden with water and possibly the asteroid that put an end to the dinosaurs.
