A 3 Day Conference with 2 - 1 hour sessions per day. A total of 4 seminars will be offered each session. This format will allow individuals to take up to 6 seminars during the conference.
 
The individual registration fee is $30 and the church registration fee is $200 for 10 participants and $15 for additional participants above 10.


  • Christian Education, Ministry, and Missions
    • 1A – Christian Education In A Digital Age
      • Presenter – Rev. Dr. Geoffrey Guns
      • Date/Time: Monday, June 22nd 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. and 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. This 1 hr. seminar session will be presented two times. 
      • Course Description:
        • This course will focus on helping leaders and congregations discover how to transition their Christian education ministries from traditional classroom settings to the use of digital technology. The presenter will allow time for a question and answer period at the end of the presentation.       

 

  • 2A – Personal Financial Management In A Time of Crisis   
    • Rev. Dr. Gregory Jackson  
    • Date/Time: Monday, June 22nd 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. and 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. This 1 hr. seminar session will be presented two times.
    • Course Description:
      • This course will help participants learn foundational principles for personal financial management. Participants will learn about budgeting, savings, investing, and the need to develop an emergency fund. The presenter will allow time for a question and answer period at the end of the presentation.        

 

  • 3A – Digital Ministry – The  New Normal  
    • Presenter: Rev. Daniel Blackburn  
    • Date/Time: Monday, June 22nd 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. and 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.

This 1 hr. seminar session will be presented two times.   

  • Course Description:
    • This course is designed to help participants make the transition to digital ministry. The course will help participants to discover and effectively use digital technology and social media platforms such as Zoom and Facebook Live. The presenter will allow time for a question and answer period at the end of the presentation.         

 

  • 4A – The New Normal for Music and Worship Ministry  
    • Presenter: Rev. Trini Massie
    • Date/Time: Monday, June 22nd 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. and Tuesday, June 23rd 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.

This 1 hr. seminar session will be presented two times.

  • Course Description:
    • This course will assist worship leaders, musicians, praise team members, choir members, and members of congregations with facing the challenges of music and worship ministry in response to new guidelines and standards impacting worship services. Innovative approaches will be shared to help leaders and participants in music and worship ministries to effectively respond to the new normal. The presenter will allow time for a question and answer period at the end of the presentation.      

 

  • 5A – Ministry Beyond The Walls  
    • Presenter: Rev. Dr. Michael Minor
    • Date/Time: Wednesday June 24th 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.

This 1 hr. seminar will be offered one time for non-pastors.

  • Course Description:
    • This course will explore opportunities that will emerge for individuals, the church and the community to collaborate and respond to new needs and service opportunities resulting from the COVID 19 pandemic. Emphasis will be placed upon developing the church as a community asset and a source of hope in the community. The presenter will allow time for a question and answer period at the end of the presentation.     
  • Health and Family
    • 1B – Thriving During A COVID 19 Age
      • Presenter: Dr. Jamye Banks, Psychologist
      • Date/Time: Tuesday, June 23rd 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. and 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.

This 1 hr. seminar session will be presented two times.   

  • Course Description:
    • This course will focus on helping participants to adjust to a new reality. As we navigate COVID-19, most of our daily lives have been disrupted and we’ve had to adapt by balancing new routines, schedules, and habits. Many of us have had to be flexible in figuring out our personal needs (I.e., emotional health), needs of the home, need for social connection, as well as needs for work. The presenter will share skills and strategies that will assist in thriving in this new normal. The presenter will allow time for a question and answer period at the end of the presentation.

 

  • 2B – Relationships and Intimacy In A COVID 19 Age
    • Presenter: Rev. Dr. Josh Mitchell
    • Date/Time: Tuesday June 23rd 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. and 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.

This 1 hr. seminar session will be presented two times. 

  • Course Description:
    • This course will focus on relationships and developing intimacy in a COVID 19 age. Key issues will include dating and developing intimacy in an age characterized by social distancing, isolation, and limited public gatherings. The presenter will allow time for a question and answer period at the end of the presentation.      

 

  • 3B – Peace of Mind In A COVID 19 Age  
    • Presenter: Dr. Zoleka Adams
    • Date/Time: Tuesday, June 23rd 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. and Wednesday, June 24th 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.

This 1 hr. seminar session will be presented two times. 

  • Course Description:
    • This course will focus on coping with the mental and emotional impact of COVID 19 upon individuals. Topics of discussion will include depression, PTSD, and grief. Presenter will discuss various symptoms of mental and emotional health disruptions and offer coping techniques for participants to practice. The presenter will allow time for a question and answer period at the end of the presentation.      

 

  • 4B – Back To The Future – Navigating The New Normal 
    • Presenter: Rev. Dr. Veronica Coleman
    • Date/Time: Tuesday June 23rd 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.

This 1 hr. seminar session will be presented one time only.   

  • Course Description:  
    • This course is designed to help leaders and congregations navigate the new normal in response to the COVID 19 pandemic. Crisis management principles and questions will be presented in order to equip leaders and congregations to make plans and become enabled to effectively respond to the new normal resulting from the COVID 19 pandemic.

 

  • 5B – This Is Us  
    • Presenter: Rev.  Nicole Guns
    • Date/Time: Wednesday June 24th 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. and 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.

This 1 hr. seminar session will be presented two times. 

  • Course Description
    • This course will focus on exploring the characteristics and needs of generations X, millennials, and generation Z. How will the church attract, engage, and involve younger generations in the life and ministry of the church in this age of the new normal. The presenter will allow time for a question and answer period at the end of the presentation.        

 

  • 6B – Making The Shift To The New Normal  
    • Presenter: Rev. James McCarroll
    • Date/Time: Wednesday June 24th 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. and 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.

This 1 hr. seminar session will be presented two times. 

  • Course Description:
    • This course will focus on helping leaders and congregations make the transition to the new normal by processing the loss or losses of the past and preparing them to face the challenges and opportunities of a new and different future. The presenter will allow time for a question and answer period at the end of the presentation.      

  • Pastors Department (For Pastors Only)
    • 1P – Pastoral Care and Leadership During The COVID 19 Crisis
      • Presenter: Rev. Dr. Lester Taylor
      • Date/Time: Monday, June 22nd/9:00 - 11:00 a.m. (2 hr. Seminar)
      • Course Description:
        • This course will focus on equipping pastors to provide pastoral care and to provide leadership to their congregations during the COVID 19 crisis. The presenter will provide wisdom and sage advice to participants who will be preparing to provide leadership to their congregations while facing the new normal. The presenter will allow time for a question and answer period at the end of the presentation.    

 

  • 2P – Pivoting Your Preaching During The COVID 19 Crisis  
    • Presenter: Rev. Dr. Lawrence Aker
    • Date/Time: Tuesday, June 23rd 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.
    • Course Description:
      • This course will explore discuss how preachers have shifted their preaching during the COVID 19 crisis. Issues for discussion will include preaching sermon series, sermon topic selection, and style adjustments in preaching during the COVID 19 crisis. The presenter will allow time for a question and answer period at the end of the presentation.      

 

  • 3P -- Ministry Beyond The Walls

      • This course will explore opportunities that will emerge for the church to collaborate with agencies and organizations to address and meet the needs of members of the church and members of the community. Emphasis will be placed upon developing the church as a positive community asset and establishing the church as a key connection link in the community that exists to help communities respond to the challenges and opportunities of the new normal in a COVID 19 age. The presenter will allow a question and answer period at the end of the presentation.
