Attitude Is Everything
Starting the Week Off Right
October 4, 2021
Good Morning,

Yes, yesterday was Sunday, a day of sitting and yelling at the television while watching our favorite team. We, probably, have all yelled, cussed, or said things regarding plays that didn't go as we believed they should have. Bone head move or where is the rest of the team are a couple of my favorites. We begin to feel like we are actually in the game, maybe even making a difference in the outcome.

Unfortunately, by comfortably sitting on our chair, we will have absolutely no influence on the game.

The same goes with real life. Too often, we complain about what is happening around us, in our community, school system, our government, or other organization we are a part of. We can all sit back and complain all we want to no avail other than getting ourselves worked up.

We need to get involved, speak up, run for office or do something (peacefully, of course) to change things. I heard something on TV last night about parents, learning what their children are, actually, being taught, and then, running for their local school board.

None of us will make this a better world sitting on our couch and yelling. We need to roll up our sleeves and pitch in. By being actively involved, we can make a real and lasting difference.
