A significant portion of the services TDEG provides involves healthcare facilities. We are currently working on projects that range from the support of nuclear imaging equipment, advanced X-ray equipment and rooftop generators to the repair of parking garages. The work sites include three Montefiore Health System facilities, three hospitals associated with Westchester Medical Center Health Network, two of the Nuvance Health hospitals and Northern Westchester Hospital. We are glad to be a part of this important work and look forward to future opportunities and continued growth in the healthcare industry.

Evans Mountzouris PE Retires

TDEG recently held a luncheon at Gallo Ristorante in Ridgefield in recognition of the retirement of Evans Mountzouris P.E. Evans’s structural engineering career “spans” six decades including the past 24 years at TDEG where he held the position of Director of Engineering for many years. His work at the firm included many of our large educational and commercial projects and he was instrumental in developing and facilitating our Quality Review Program and Special Inspections Program. His membership in multiple local and national engineering organizations during his career is a testimony to his dedication to, and love for, the profession. Evans plans to continue his long-standing role on the Editorial Board of Structure magazine during his retirement. He will be missed by all of us at TDEG and we wish him the best for his well-deserved retirement!
