‌ Founded in 1874 by Charles Jeremiah Smith, A.O. Smith is one of the world's largest water heater manufacturers. Their new technology center opened in 2018 in Milwaukee, WI to support advanced research and development in the areas of potable and hydronic water heating, water treatment and air purificatiton. Founded in 1901 by Frank Dowd, Charlotte Pipe and Foundry is a family-owned pipe and fittings manufacturer. For over a century they have been manufacturing pipe and fittings exclusively in the USA. Charlotte Pipe manufactures the industry's broadest range of standard and specialty DWV products, including cast iron and plastic pipe and fittings. Headquartered in Charlotte, NC, they have seven plant locations across the USA and employ over 1400 people.

Founded in 1900 by J.C. Whitlam II and headquartered in Wadsworth, OH, Whitlam has a rich history in chemical engineering. The Tyte-Unyte® Pipe Joint Compound was their one and only product from 1900-1938, and today they supply over 300 chemical specialty products, many related to pipe joining. Founded in 1929 and headquartered in Colorado Springs, CO, Woodford is the leading manufacturer of wall faucets, wall and yard hydrants, vacuum breakers and backflow preventers.

Founded in 1979 and headquartered in Independence, MO, Watco is the leading manufacturer of bath waste, bathtub drains, trim kits and bathroom sink drains.

Founded in 1939 in Louisville, KY, Zoeller is one of the oldest, independently-owned U.S. pump manufacturers. Zoeller's flagship product is the sump pump, and true to their beginnings with August "Pop" Zoeller, they continue to build products to move water from where it should not be.
