Rouzer Group Updates
ST. LOUIS PARK, MINNESOTA - March 19th, 2020
Yes. The sun did rise this morning!
 
Thanks to all of our manufacturer partners who have been sending us updates of operations, plans, etc. Believe me, these are very valuable and non-confidential information is being shared prudently with our key customers.

Rouzer Group updates:
  • Our inside sales team is either working from home or from one of the offices with plenty of room to spread out.
  • Most customers are not accepting outside personnel into their business, but our Account Managers have been equipped to make virtual sales calls and are doing so regularly.
  • Only a few projects have been shut down with the only official word from Dept. of Labor encouraging safe work environments.
  • Our preference at this time is no outside visitors to our office. If you already had something scheduled, please contact me to discuss.
  • We are taking active steps to ensure our facilities are free of virtually any bacteria or virus’ moving forward to keep our offices clean and safe.
  • No in-person activities are being scheduled in our training facility.

Key activities from the teams at this time:
  • Business levels have slowed but not bad, so our people are still taking care of customers’ daily needs.
  • CRM Activity- Rouzer recently converted to a new CRM software (RepFabric), and the team will have an opportunity to focus on capabilities and tools to maximize efficiencies for customers and manufacturers.
  • 2020 opportunities identification and strategic actions planning.
  • Leverage our advanced electronic marketing and social media capabilities.
  • Web based training and virtual sales calls.
  • If you want to hold a training with our team please reach out to Becca (rebecca@rouzer.com). Special thanks to Milbank and Radians for being proactive!
  • Rouzer will be sending out an “E-Learning” email with links to participating manufacturer’s learning hubs, YouTube, etc. Please provide this information to Rebecca@rouzer.com to be included in said email by end of day tomorrow (3/21).

What can we both do?
  • Encourage your staff to schedule virtual sales calls with our teams.
  • Since we don’t know how long this will last there is no reason not to take full advantage of technology. Let’s be on the leading edge.
  • Customers are going to be challenged with manufacturer Regional Managers who all want to come in to see them at the same time when travel bans are lifted.
  • Stay on top of our joint business plans.
  • Share information with your sales force (us).
  • Any supply chain issues?
  • Will you be decreasing inventories?
  • Any extended dating or other programs you want to customize to encourage purchasing activities?
  • Are you reviewing sales budgets?
  • What are you seeing in other areas of the country (both good and bad)?
  • Generate an incentive program for our customers to take online training courses:
  • Premiums, gift cards, etc.

None of Rouzer’s competitors spend as much time face to face in front of your customers as we do and we don’t want our competition to be on a level playing field. Let’s please push each other to be in constant contact with our customer advancing our goals for the year.
