Our Website is Back Online

After a series of hacks to our website -- no, we had not diversified our services to include selling tires in China -- we are pleased to announce its return to functionality.  While there are still a few glitches that continue to require attention, the majority of the site is now available and useful for important updates about our community.

For example, had you missed one of our online classes and are now interested in watching it in the archives?  Visit this link   https://shirhadashjerusalem.com/torah/ to see our Video Torah options (there will be a screen of the latest class, or if you prefer, you can click on our YouTube link to see any previous class).

Do you want to see what activities are taking place this month?  Visit
 https://shirhadashjerusalem.com/events/ for a comprehensive calendar for May.

Or if you ever can't find your weekly announcements in your inbox, simply visit https://shirhadashjerusalem.com/news/ for the latest updates.

Our Minyan and Daf Yomi Return to In Person Participation

Both our Shacharit morning minyan (8:15 AM) and Daf Yomi Class (9:00 AM) will return this coming Sunday morning (May 17th) to in person operation -- both taking place OUTSIDE of the shul under the pergola.  The daf yomi will also continue to be broadcast daily through our online services.

Each activity is limited in number with no more than 19 participants allowed -- so if you are interested in participating in either (and have not already contacted us) it is advised that you reserve your space now.  To do so, e-mail shirhadash613@gmail.com.

Other limitations imposed for health reasons include:

Seats will be distanced 2 meters apart (please do not move the seats);

Masks must be worn;

Please bring (and take home daily) your own Sidur and/or Talmud;

Entrance to the site will be through the western side -- the gate with the stairs to the pergola (as the main entrance is reserved for children participating in our gan yeladim);

Entrance to the building itself will be permitted for bathroom use only, and only one person at a time;

Entrance will not be permitted to the kitchen (sorry, guys, you'll have to bring your own coffee);

We also request that each participant download the HAMAGEN app before coming to minyan.  This app - approved by the Health Ministry - will inform you if you cross paths (in both time and space) with a known Corona patient.  If you are informed such, you may not participate in either activity for two weeks.
