Hot Springs Village continues to keep our members informed on the latest information about COVID-19 locally and in the state of Arkansas. Currently, we are continuing to follow Phase 2 Directives from the Arkansas Department of Health.
Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson announced that he is issuing an executive order mandating that masks for Arkansans when they are out in public. The mandate will go into effect on Monday, July 20.
Masks will be required for all indoor environments where individuals are exposed to non-household members and 6-foot distance cannot be assured. Masks will also be required outdoors when there is exposure to non-household members unless the 6-foot distancing can be assured.

Today's testing results detected 817 cases, bringing the state's cumulative total to 31,114.
Of the new cases, 114 of them were in Pulaski County, 26 were in Yell County and 24 were in Garland County.
The state's hospitalizations also saw an increase of 12 more people hospitalized, bringing that total to 470. Of the 470 people hospitalized, 101 are on ventilators.
There were six more deaths reported since yesterday, bringing the state's total to 341.
As of today, 6,578 cases are considered active with 138 in nursing homes, 978 in correctional facilities and 5,465 in the community.

Saline & Garland Counties
As of Thursday, Saline County, 521 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Saline County and 10,794 have tested negative. This is an increase of nine cases since yesterday's numbers. Of those testing positive, 380 have recovered. The death total remains at three.
The number of deaths in Garland County has gone up once again, this time by two, bringing the county's total COVID-19 deaths to five. AS of today, 366 people have tested positive for COVID-19 and 8,996 have tested negative. Of the people infected, 292 have recovered.
Cancellations & Postponements
- The HSV Razorback Club has canceled its dinner set for Sept. 23.
- The HSV Razorback Club has canceled its Annual Golf Tournament fundraiser scheduled for Sept. 24 at Magellan Golf Course.
