A message about coronavirus from Minnco President Doug Hallstrom

Developments related to COVID-19 are occurring at an unprecedented pace. Therefore, I intend to issue regular updates for as long as necessary in order to keep you informed on matters related to Minnco.

As I’ve stated before, the safety and well-being of our staff and members is our top priority. Because infected people can transmit the virus even before they feel symptoms, it’s important to limit exposure to one another. Therefore, we advise practicing social distancing (standing at least six feet away from another person) when out in public. We also encourage members to minimize office visits when possible. Many, if not most, financial services can be done remotely. The more you can do online, on your phone, through the drive-up or at an ATM, the better. It reduces the chance of exposure, both for you and for our employees.

Finally, we realize that COVID-19 has the potential to create financial difficulties for members. Some may be unable to work due to illness, or because their place of employment cut hours, or because they need to stay home and care for kids while schools are closed. If finances become a concern, reach out to us.  Call us at 763-689-1071 and let us know your situation. We'll do what we can do to help you.  By working together we’ll get through this challenging time.
