Alexander Gros
Vice-Chair, Special Activities Committee
Alexander Gros, also known as “Zero”, is a member of Sea Scout Ship 802 and Venturing Crew 802. He is an Eagle Scout and an Apprentice Sea Scout. He is currently studying Civil Engineering in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Zero serves as the Transatlantic Council Boatswain as well as the Boatswain's Mate of Program for Ship 802. Alexander is also a member of the Transatlantic Council Conservation Committee and is a Leave no Trace Trainer. He has attended and staffed NYLT multiple times and has completed the SeaBadge course. Alexander is actively involved in growing the older youth programs in the Transatlantic Council and participates in many district and council events to promote them.
In addition to multiple positions in BSA, Alexander is also an adult leader for the 7th Edinburgh North-East Sea Scout Group with Scouts UK.
We welcome this youth leader as member of our staff and appreciate the youth perspective he brings to the Special Activities Committee.
