Serra Website Provides Latest Information

As parents, educators and teachers, we are all learning to navigate new and unknown territory.   San Mateo County Health Department's  Shelter in Place  order through April 7 extends Serra's closure during this time period, with a tentative school opening planned for Wednesday, April 8. We will continue to monitor the situation with the local health department and the Archdiocese of San Francisco.

We know that distance learning and social distancing can present feelings of uneasiness and uncertainty. We hope to ease these feelings by bringing you current information through our website. Please visit our website  daily for answers to your questions and the latest information surrounding our school closure.

Also, we hope to bring you helpful information, such as the webinar Parenting In The Age of Coronoavirus.
Fund A Dream Event: Now More Than Ever!

Due to the need to do our part to reduce the spread of COVID-19, Coronavirus, we had to make the difficult decision to not gather as a community for our annual Fund a Dream event, which was scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 14.

Fund a Dream is more than a social event, it is a fundraiser dedicated solely to tuition assistance for Padres who would like to attend Serra but do not have the money to do so. Over the course of 15 years, the Serra community has raised $5 million in this effort.

We recognize that this is an uncertain time with our current health crisis and the impact that it is having on the broader economy. This challenging situation only underscores our need to continue to provide this opportunity for future and current Padres.

We believe the need is now more than ever. We need to support the young men who aspire to be formed in a community of faith who will go forward to make a difference in the world - Now more than ever.

In that spirit, we move forward. We have created a  virtual Fund a Dream  for us to gather in support of Padres who aspire to a Serra education. We are asking our supporters to visit our site and spend some time there. This is our way of continuing to tell the story of the transformative impact of a Serra education and be a part of that story moving forward.

We are deeply grateful for your support - Now more than ever!
