PAL Tutoring at WHS

Dear Westfield Parents,

The resumption of school also means the resumption of homework and studying.  We are writing to inform you about a great organization at WHS - the PAL Tutoring Club.  Every Wednesday from 3:30-5:30 p.m., two to three WHS juniors and seniors, who are members of the National Honor Society, join with one or two faculty members to run an after-school tutoring program in the WHS Student Center.  Students are able to stop by for homework help, study for upcoming assessments, or simply be a part of a collaborative, inclusive environment.

This program can be a tremendous resource for students, as they will work with peers who have experience in the subject matter.  This program is completely free and offers complimentary pizza to students who attend.  We hope that your children join us, whether that is for help on their homework, tutoring for tests, or working in a productive environment.  If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Mr. Warren Hynes, WHS assistant principal, at whynes@westfieldnjk12.org, or (908) 789-4500 x4506. Thank you!

Sincerely, WHS PAL Tutoring
