September 1 Deadline
for Zoom License Re-Enrollment
Please note: if you have already re-enrolled since June 7, 2021, and have received a confirmation email, please disregard additional reminders. If you have any questions, please email wy-telehealth@uwyo.edu.

If you were enrolled to receive a no-cost, HIPAA-secure Zoom license for providing telehealth from the Wyoming Telehealth Network (WyTN), you must re-enroll in the program. The reason for re-enrollment is to decrease the amount of providers, facilities and students who, for whatever reason, no longer need access to their license for providing telehealth.

Re-Enrollment Deadline: September 1, 2021
Anyone who does not re-enroll will be unlinked from the WyTN's Zoom account

August WyTN Spotlight
This year will mark the first-ever annual Telehealth Awareness Week from September 19-25, 2021, hosted by the American Telemedicine Association (ATA). The Wyoming Telehealth Network is excited to learn about how to help our colleagues participate in Wyoming. We recently caught up with Ann Mond Johnson, the CEO of the ATA, to learn more about how this event came to be and what we can expect from the week of awareness.

Ann Mond Johnson came to the ATA in 2018 with a background in launching, building, and leading client-driven companies that have been innovators in using healthcare technology and data to support consumers using healthcare. Her vision of empowering healthcare consumers to make the best choice they can is amplified by the growth in telemedicine. “I think telemedicine is the epitome of consumerism in healthcare because patients can receive it when and where they need it.”

  • Make it a point to join a WyTN Special Interest Group (SIG) meeting during the month of September to learn more about plans to reduce barriers to healthcare!
WyTN Featured in Casper Star Tribune Article
The Wyoming Department of Education has applied for a federal grant that would provide $9 million over 5 years for Wyoming school districts (Evanston, Rock Springs & Rawlins) to pilot a teletherapy program. This article written by Morgan Hughes from the Casper Star Tribune dives into what that could mean for the future of student mental health across Wyoming.
Wyoming Telehealth Consortium
The Wyoming Telehealth Consortium is the central meeting space to discuss the programs, success/challenges, and discuss ideas on improving the use of telehealth in the state. The Consortium meets on the last Tuesday of every month, from 3:00 - 4:00 pm. Anyone interested in building telehealth is encouraged to attend.
