August Elective
August Adult Elective - “Hebrews: Christ Is Better”

The August Adult Elective starts this Sunday! Join us from 10:10 - 10:45 am in the Sanctuary as Neel Skelton leads us through Hebrews.

Hebrews is written to people whose faith is struggling. Following Jesus is a lot harder than they ever imagined and the pull to consider other options is strong. Like the original audience, many of us have considered the same question… is any of this worth it? Is Jesus really worth following in the midst of temptation, sin, doubt, and persecution? Join us as we take a 30,000-foot view of the book of Hebrews and discover again that Christ really is better.

Engaging the World
Global Spotlight

Focus: : Stephen & Charity Jones, Serge, England – Stephen and Charity are seeking to reach Muslims, Hindus, and Sikhs with the gospel in London, England through church planting, kingdom businesses, theological training and counseling.

Prayer: In their most recent newsletter, Stephen explained that with the massive spike in mental health needs among the needy in London – Charity has increased her workload from 5 – 10 hours per week to 50 hours per week dedicated to Kairos Community Counseling. They have served 235 client sessions in the past 3 months and are about to onboard their 7th counselor. The demand for counseling has skyrocketed among the unreached. Thankfully, this means that Stephen and Charity are meeting the needs of the unreached community in London more effectively than they have in 12 years of ministry. But they’re very tired – mentally & emotionally. Please pray for their healing and endurance as they serve their people.
