Worship With Us
Join us for worship at 9:55am this Sunday on YouTube— we will send a link over the weekend.

A couple of PUCC teens will share a variety of verses from the Psalms and a description of the early church from Acts 2:42-47 which mentions the community of believers spending time together in the temple and breaking bread at home. A few of us will share some personal reflections on communion. Ponder what you have been taught and what you believe and feel and experience around communion.

Since it is a Communion Sunday, please prepare some bread (crackers of any kind would work) and some juice/wine (whatever beverage you have will suffice).

It’s a Give-A-Meal Sunday when we invite you to bring gifts of non-perishable food items to church to await pickup from Isaiah 58 (i58ministries.org). Please feel free to make your own drop-offs to Isaiah 58 or Circle of Concern (circleofconcern.org) or simply place then on/under the table just inside the main doors at church (code: 17024) and we will deliver them for you every week during this time.

Zoom gatherings for the week of May 4 will be sent in a separate email over the weekend also… opportunities to spend some time together building community through sharing photos, stories, games, scripture, prayer, study. Stay tuned! If you are unsure/unsteady about trying Zoom and would like some help, please reach out to [email protected]
Messages for YOU
This is the link to an all-church email sent last week from Council President, Kevin Hogarty,
Message from Emma Landowski
I just wanted to take a moment to share how grateful I am for the opportunity to be with you all this past academic year. It still is hard to believe that our time has come to an end. I have learned a great deal from each of you, your kind and generous spirit, your eagerness to learn and grow, your excitement around being in community and building relationships with people from other walks of life. I pray that the spirit continues to guide you and work through each of you. Please know that might heart is with you all, particularly now while we are all still living in the world of COVID-19. Each of you is a beloved child of God and I will forever be shaped by our time together.

Thank you, blessings, and peace
~Emma

Maybe you have some time and space and energy to make some art these days… blessings on your creativity now.

Our pre-corona existence was not normal other than we normalized greed, inequity, exhaustion, depletion, extraction, disconnection, confusion, rage, hoarding, hate & lack. We should not return, my friends. We are being given the opportunity to stitch a new garment. ~Sonya Renee Taylor
