Chamber Connect
Play Safe

What started as an internal campaign to encourage patrons to Play Safe at the newly smoke free Bucky’s & Yavapai Casinos has hit the pavement as a community wide initiative. With
members of our amazing community doing the right thing and playing safe while out enjoying free time they are doing their part to keep all of us safe. Those of you taking precautions at the Courthouse Square or Entertainment District and other area restaurants,
bars and social settings are thanked for doing their part and aren’t going unnoticed. Let’s all Play Safe so we can put COVID-19 behind us!
Yavapai Safe Program for Businesses

Businesses may self-certify by viewing the guidelines on the YCHS webpage ( https://www.yavapai.us/chs/Home/COVID-19 ) , then by requesting a decal through either the Prescott Valley, Prescott or Cottonwood Chambers of Commerce. Businesses who elect to participate in the #YavapaiSafe program should post the sticker/decal in a prominent, visible location.

Vacation Rental Homes
Prescott Arts District Chalets, LLC
We own/manage two chalet-style vacation rental homes located just two blocks from Courthouse Square at 118 N. McCormick (the blue-roofed homes across from Rosa's). Our 1-bedroom Chalet sleeps 2-4; our 2-Bedroom Chalet sleeps 4-6. We rent both on Vrbo (listings 370657 and 367805), but also on Airbnb (2 BR listing 17250584). We're also on Facebook where we often promote the community or local businesses, in conjunction with our rentals. We frequently visit Prescott from Wisconsin and take great care with our properties, since one is also our personal vacation home. We rent from 2 minimum - @45 days.

Our excellent renters are often mature adults in the 30-70 age range or young families -- visiting as tourists, potential homebuyers, corporate stayers, or attendees at local graduations or other community events. Our Chalets are occasionally rented together for an extended family group. They are full of amenities often not found in other vacation rentals and frequently commented on in our many 5-star reviews. We also have a number of return renters which we think is the highest complement we can receive on our properties.

Yavapai Regional Medical Center (YRMC) and Dignity Health are currently involved in discussions to evaluate a potential collaboration between the two organizations. YRMC, with acute care hospitals in Prescott and Prescott Valley, primary and specialty care clinics, and extensive outpatient services, has been serving western Yavapai County since 1943.

“This opportunity has tremendous potential to help YRMC advance healthcare in our region,” adds Amos. “Being part of a system that includes a Level-One Trauma Center, Barrow Neurological Institute, Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center, and the Cancer Center at St. Joseph’s would add great value to the high-quality healthcare we already provide to those in our region.”

Discussions are ongoing between both organizations and a decision regarding collaboration is expected this summer.
