Dear Measure Client,   To say this year has been unusual might be something of an understatement. The good news is how resilient the flooring industry has been; it's encouraging to hear that many stores are in fact, as busy as they have ever been. Over the past year we have seen further development of both Measure Mobile and Measure Desktop.

Measure Mobile New Release

The latest update for Measure Mobile, 5.0.42, saw the following enhancements: Free Draw: Added new Angle Tool for Free Draw User can reverse draw direction Dimensions are displayed on all wall segments while drawing Applying new length to segment is now an undoable action Added new Extend Room drawing tool Improved positioning of dimension labels Edit or select room name in sidebar instead of dialog It is now possible to apply linear products to a room while on the drawing screen DISTO measurements are automatically applied to the selected segment Adjusted stairway lay direction to show absolute direction instead of relative lay direction Detailed cut instructions are now included with the installation report Please follow the link to a video that highlights these features:

‌	Measure Desktop New Release

In October an on-demand version of Measure Desktop was released (Version 15 Build 3713) – it contains the following new features: Extended Polygon Draw New drawing tool that facilitates the creation of rooms with shared walls Creates lines automatically when used with vectorized blueprints Suppress line detection by holding the Shift key Right-clicking suspends line drawing with the Extended Polygon tool Room Multiplier It is now possible to draw a room once and have it allocated many times Stairs  Access to new Stairway Library Allow editing of non-straight stairs The creation and editing of spiral stairways is now possible Non-Straight Stairs are now displayed in 3D Moving, flipping, editing sides and rotating are all supported when working with stairways Stairway sections may now be attached and detached Implemented waterfall allocation and borders for non-straight stairs Added checkbox to the stairs dialog that activates/deactivates the expanded view of stairs Edges, spindles and handrails were implemented for the 3D view of non-straight stairs Desktop-Mobile conversion of stairs is fully functional Suppression of risers on stairways is allowed 

Measure Desktop 64 Bit Platform

We are looking forward to the first public release of Measure Desktop on a 64 Bit platform, which is expected in the first quarter of 2021. This version will enable the program to take advantage of more of a computers resources to quicken up rendering when doing plan take-offs etc. Along with the new platform there will also be a few nice new features to look forward to.
