The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended that no gatherings of 50 people or more be held in the U.S. for the next two months, one of the federal government’s most sweeping efforts to slow the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

“For a while, life is not going to be the way it used to be in the United States,” Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said on Sunday. “We have to just accept that if we want to do what’s best for the American public.”
In light of these recommendations, AIA Central Oklahoma will be rescheduling our March and April events. Our number one priority is the health and safety of our members.

These events include:

March 24 | AIA Oklahoma's Architects Blitz the Capitol
Stay tuned for more information on a virtual event.

March 26 | Architecture after 5 at ZFI Engineering
Postponed - Stay tuned for the new date

April 9 | AIA Luncheon
Postponed - Stay Tuned for the new date

April 13- 18 | AIA Architecture Week
Postponed (including the AIA Architecture Tour) - Stay tuned for the new date

April 23 | Architecture after 5 at FSB
Postponed - Stay tuned for a new date

April 28 | Lunch & Learn
While this is under 50 people, it is still in a small confined space which will not allow for a 6" separation so this event will be rescheduled.

May 4 | AIA Golf Tournament
This event is still set for May 4th but we do have an alternative date of June 15th set should we need to reschedule. This will be determined in the next few weeks.
