Dear Metropolitan Opera Live in HD Patrons,

As you may already be aware, during this time when our stages are dark the Metropolitan Opera has launched a new initiative of presenting “Nightly Met Opera Streams” featuring different encore presentations from the 14 seasons of  Live in HD . The nightly encore presentations will continue for the duration of the institution’s closure. Global audiences can access the streams freely.

All “Nightly Met Opera Streams” will begin at 7:30pm EDT and will remain available via the homepage of  metopera.org  for 20 hours. The best way to access is through the Met Opera on Demand app (available for Apple, Amazon, Roku devices as well as Samsung Smart TVs). The free streams will be available on the app without logging in – chose the respective title under "Browse and Preview" in the app for connected TV, and "Explore the App" on tablets and mobile devices. You can then select the featured title by clicking on “FREE PREVIEW” followed by the play button.
