The Union Office has been receiving many calls regarding the communication we all received from President Brown.

 

The health and well-being of our members and our students is our top priority.

 

The leadership of the UCE and the Faculty Senate have worked with the Administration during these uncertain times.

 

Your Union Officers have been adamant that any employee who is not comfortable coming to work, or is in a high-risk category, should be allowed to use their personal, sick, vacation or other accrued leave time.

 

We will make sure that there are no adverse consequences, from any supervisor, for any member who cannot come to work due to being in a high risk category, or due to a fear of traveling to the college. You will, however, have to charge your time banks.
